“Become the strongest version of yourself. Be your own guru. The body achieves what the mind believes. It always hurts before it gets better”
#ShapeME is a performative installation that deals with different perspectives on the virtual identity. After PUPPIES FOR SALE, the trilogy Some Say Morality is Negotiable continues with #ShapeME. #ShapeME emphasizes the performer’s own relationship to the fabricated real, the makeability of the body, and the psychological effects these concepts have on us.
Does your life matter if you don’t continuously show it off online? If others can’t see how fit you are and how perfect your skin looks?
